Technical Software Tester

We are scouting for a Technical Software Tester to join our highly successful team.

What you’ll do

As a Technical Software Tester you develop and refine your craft of software testing in a fast paced and rewarding environment. In this role you will apply your powers of deduction, insight and ability to think outside the box to help test a range of key software applications by working closely with the business and developers.

As a Technical Software Tester you will:

• Develop, plan and implement test cases based on software requirements, user input and technical understanding;

• Develop and execute automated testing strategies;

• Perform functional, system, regression and performance tests to establish the software capability and reliability;

• Assist in reproducing, investigating and debugging software issues in coordination with the development team;

• Document and report test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting and summarizing data to the development team;

• Develop and extend the current test infrastructure to be more efficient, both in execution and reporting;

• Maintain and improve the test environment to mimic the production environment as closely as possible.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering or a related field of study;

• At least 3 years of working experience as a Tester;

• Affinity towards automated testing;

• Strong problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail;

• Pro-active, result and quality oriented, team player;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Preferably have experience in working with Agile/ Scrum methodologies

• Preferably have knowledge of programming/scripting languages like C#, C++, python;

• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies;

• Eager to learn about derivatives trading.
