Technical Specailist- CM Job in Jersey City, New Jersey US
A Bank with headquarters in jersey city is looking for a Technical specailist to work within change mangement to support several concurrent multi-platform initiatives and projects that span all the technologies in use at the bank.
Ideal candidate has a technical IT background (for instance, as a developer or a database administrator) with experience in change management.
This is a hands-on position that requires a wide technical knowledge and extensive experience. It requires the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high quality results. It also requires the ability to take initiative and be flexible to solve complex issues while following team, manager and company guidelines. The candidate must be able to represent the team and interact with all levels of the organization as well as vendors as a professional SME (subject matter expert).
Responsibilities:
IBM Guardium administration including setup, configuration and incident resolution,
Monitoring of production systems for unauthorized changes
Automation of unauthorized change monitoring
SLA administration and reporting
Enforce Change Management guidelines
Requirements:
At least 5 years experience in a technical IT position
Proven track record of administration, support and maintenance of monitoring and/or CM tools
Expertise in several of the following: SQL, scripting, PHP, TCP/IP, multi-tiers applications, windows servers, AIX, Linux, Mainframe, Network devices, SAN, Tivoli.
Financial/banking experience a plus.
Fast learner, able to quickly assimilate new technologies and processes.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
