Victoria is a bustling state, with no shortage of electricity projects. Therefore the need for maintaining its existing infrastructure is critical for power utilities to meet the state’s growing demand. This leading power utility in Australia is continuing to service the needs of many Victorians.
An outstanding opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Standards Engineer to join their Melbourne team. You will be responsible for implementing and developing technical standards and to conduct detailed research and investigations for their specialist engineering projects.
The successful candidate will come from the electrical distribution industry with experience in design, project management, system planning and/or a construction background. You will ideally have experience with stakeholder management and undertaking feasibility assessments for distribution projects.
A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering and Overhead design hands-on experience will be mandatory. It is also essential that you have excellent verbal and written skills. Victorian or interstate candidates will also be considered for this position.
