Technical Support Agents – Leading Downtown Energy Firm

NRG is a Fortune 250 wholesale power generation company that owns and operates one of the industry's most diverse generation portfolios including nuclear, wind and solar power.  One of their branches SimplySmart (a sister company to Reliant Energy) is looking for multiple talented Technical Agents to help with different product lines as well as troubleshooting and technical support.

The Universal Technical Agent will:
- Take incoming calls in regards to several different product lines
- Answer questions about the product/service, take orders from customers and help with billing and enrollment inquiries
- Take technical calls dealing with installation issues and errors, troubleshooting and ordering

Required Skills:
- A technical support background; prior experience with and a good understanding of hardware troubleshooting, cat5 cables, and installation
- A consultative approach to customer service and the ability to support multiple divisions
- Strong communication skills, high motivation and excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm – REQUIRED
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
