Position Summary:
Our client is a nationally recognized healthcare technology company and has turned to Sound Advice to help them identify, qualify and present qualified individual for this critical position (see below).
Responsibilities
· Support and installation of Client’s EHR through phone and WAN connection
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work load with minimal supervision.
· Ability to apply experience and knowledge to construct solutions to technical problems and implement them
· Record and track support problems in help desk software while keeping client informed of problem status and estimated resolution times.
· Install and configure Client’s EHR on new client installations.
· Perform upgrades and patch installations for Client’s EHR as needed.
Requirements
· Must possess a 4 year degree from an accredited institution or have equivalent work experience and certifications.
· Must have experience working with database platforms such as SQL Server or Oracle.
· Microsoft Certifications such as MCITO, MCSE, MCSA, A+ or Network+ a definite plus
· Must have at least 1 year experience installing and supporting Windows based client server software applications.
· Must have experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 technologies such as IIS, Active Directory and Domain administration.
· Must have above average skills in supporting WAN's and LAN's remotely.
· Must have excellent customer relations skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of client organization.
· Ability to work on diverse projects under tight deadlines.
· Ability to assess problems, recommend appropriate solutions, and implement them.
· Ability to lift boxes or equipment weighing up to 75 LBS.
· Ability to work in spaces with less than 30" of headroom, while in a kneeling or seated position.
Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
