THE COMPANY

A leading provider of trading technology to major financial services organisations. My client provides cutting edge trading technologies and connectivity services including FIX protocol and other exchange messaging formats. They use a combination of 3rd party solutions and their own bespoke systems.

THE ROLE

Provide 2nd line and 3rd line support to major banks and exchanges based on UNIX technology. You will help to train client users and then support them by troubleshooting and resolving issues. You will accepted users queries via telephone and email and then provide the fastest solutions possible. My client has a reputation for excellence and is recruiting on the back of a rapidly expanding client base.

REQUIREMENTS

* Good knowledge and experience with UNIX systems with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve 2nd and 3rd line trading issues
* Good knowledge of FIX protocol with the ability to read raw FIX logs and understanding of FIX tags in message strips
* Knowledge of how FIX function in a trading environment
* Excellent communication skills
