Job Description:
SLAIT Consulting is currently seeking a Technical Support Analyst for our client in Norfolk, VA.

Job Description:
1. Implement new desktop applications and assist with migration of existing applications.
2. Maintain, repair, and deploy IT hardware as per currently supported standards.
3. Update problem management system, as well as project and change request system, and communicates progress to customers.
4. Required shiftwork, overtime, and on-call responsibilities.
5. Completed annual goals.

Qualifications:

Education:
* Associate’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:
* Minimum of 1 year experience in supporting various end users with hardware and software including procedural problems. Must have experience with Windows desktop OS experience in a LAN/WAN environment.

Licensure/Certifications:
* Prefer one or more of the following: MCDST, A+, Network +, HP APS
Key Competencies:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Strong troubleshooting skills a must. Must be able to work autonomously as well as in a team. This position requires overtime, shift work, and on-call responsibilities.
