Technical Support Analyst Job in New York 10016, New York US

Responsibilities:

First Line support team members either locally or remotely.

Respond to resolve trouble tickets, telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.

Perform hardware and software installations, moves, adds and changes for new hires and current user base.

Maintain updated site and systems documentation.

Daily Hardware and software maintenance of desktop PCs, laptops, printers and servers including patches and

updates.

Escalate problems/issues through IT management and suppliers.

Carry out any equipment moves as requested.

Manage the supply and usage of all consumables and spare parts for Desktops and printers.

Carry out network troubleshooting as requested.

Responsible for administration on the phone system.

Provide training or guidance in the use of technology.

Assist with all aspects of daily IT operations.

Assist with other duties as needed.

Travel both nationally and internationally as required.

Responsible for the local office backup system.

Responsible for ordering and assigning hardware via approval process.

Responsible for site and systems documentation.

 

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems and Applications

Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Applications

Apple Operating Systems and Applications

Linux Operating Systems and components

Google Apps: Mail, Docs and Calendar

I.T. Infrastructure technical knowledge

Experience of supporting users locally and remotely.

Working experience of TCP/IP protocol.

Strong knowledge of Active Directory.

Analytical, detail-oriented, responsible, willing to take initiative as well as display creativity and problem solving

capability.

Demonstrate good time management skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in order to satisfy the

needs of the organization and management.

Highly interpersonal with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Highly motivated self-starter, who can set priorities, take initiative and work both independently and proactively.

Very strong ability to work under pressure, multitask and be flexible.
