Technical Support Analyst Job in Richmond Hill L4b 0A9, Ontario Canada
Position:
Strong emphasis will be put on developing and maintaining a professional technical Customer Support area. This will be done through email ( support@miravid.com ), phone support and possibly in person.
Develop and maintain a tracking system of all customer issues is important for internal communications of technical issues.
Relationship building with customers and business partners is key. The TSA must rely heavily on his ability to apply appropriate analytical skills and communicate the message clearly and succinctly to all parties.
Travel:
Some travel outside Canada may be required. This will include but not limited to tradeshow attendance, customer / reseller training, potential sales calls and technical support and installations.
Documentation:
Produce and maintain Technical Support handling processes designed to minimize issue resolution times. The TSA will provide documentation and reporting on support issues.
Testing:
The TSA position will involve product testing which will include the set up of a test environment and setup and execute test plans. This also includes the tracking of bugs and ensuring fixes are valid and do not create new problems or affect product’s stability.
The TSA will develop and document automated testing procedure for MiraVid products.
Other:
Building of PCs, installing software (OS and other applications - clone hard drives), building software installation packages, packaging PCs for shipment.
The TSA will work closely with Development Team to help resolve customer issues, to contribute to the company’s product line growth and to communicate any technical issues the TSA is aware of.
Knowledge and experience in Web Design would be a strong asset.
From time to time there will be tasks or projects outside of this job description that the TSA will be asked to perform. It is expected that the TSA will accept these tasks and try to the best of his ability to accomplish these tasks.
