Technical Support Analyst recruitment

Opportunity

An exciting new opportunity to join our Operations Systems Support team. You will be required to carry out day-to-day system technical activities to support the areas of MG Retail and PPL liaising with third-party providers. Working as part of scheduled business-as-usual activities, managing issues and working in projects.

Key responsibilities

- Testing of Projects.
- Testing of Mailings Mass Statements.
- Working with and organising technical data / extracts using databases and VBA.
- Systems Administration.
- PGDS Liaison Support.
- Release Management.
- User Developed Applications Development in MS Access using VBA.
- Management of team issues centrally (logged and auditable).
- Assisting in Systems Support areas of OSS work as required.
- These responsibilities take place in both a BAU and project environment.

What we are looking for

- Excellent understanding and experience of System Testing Principles.
- Thorough Understanding and knowledge of principles of IT.
- Excellent ability in Microsoft Office skills for MS Word, MS Excel MS Access including VBA.
- It would be an advantage to have knowledge of MG Retail business, funds and products.
- It would be an advantage to have knowledge of PPL business, funds and products.
- It would be an advantage to have knowledge of systems used by Third Party Providers (IFDS, BNYM, RBC Dexia etc).
- Ability to work both with and without close supervision.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise
- Professional manner and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with all team members.
- Able to communicate clearly.
