My client based in Dublin city centre is currently looking for an IT Business Applications / Technical Support Analyst with strong PL/SQL experience.
This is an initial fixed term contract however the likelihood is that this person will be kept on permanently.
This is a varied role with a lot of projects coming up. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in tools such as Qlikview, Oracle Data Integrator and Oracle Retail.
Your role:
-Provide support to business users on retail applications
-Work on business driven projects from user requirement analysis and design through to solution development, testing and implementation
-Develop PL/SQL scripts to assist in development and support requests, investigations and report writing
-Support, enhance and develop reports and dashboards using Crystal reports and Qlikview
-Provide user training on all systems as required
-Resolve issues and queries in a proactive and timely manner
-Strong focus on customer/end-user service and solution delivery in a professional manner
Your skill-set:
-PL/SQL development skills essential
-Excellent communication skills
-RDBMS systems knowledge
-Crystal Reports
-Systems integrations experience and APLI development knowledge
Ideal but not essential:
-Qlikview development
-Knowledge of Retails Systems - particularly Oracle Retail an advantage
-Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) knowledge an advantage
-Development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, ColdFusion, .Net Web Services, XML an advantage
