This role is working day-to-day with a prestigious much sought after 3rd party vendor system on pertinent business issues and provides an exceptional opportunity for the successful candidate to develop into a Product Consultant or Subject Matter Expert with this particular system over time.

A real-time Securities post-execution processing solution for the middle office and back office and thus the tasks required for this role are as follows:

• Providing first and second line application support to clients for their issues using the system in a live environment

• Carrying out investigation of issues

• Advising clients

• Fixing system data

• Fixing software bugs

• Occasionally making small software enhancements

Unix, Pro*C, Oracle, SQL or PL/SQL

Ideal candidate would have proven experience of an IT development or support role and have expertise on the following areas.

- Unix and Pro*C
- Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL
- Problem analysis and solving skills
- Communication (written and spoken) in English
- Support skills
 

Unix, Pro*C, Oracle, SQL or PL/SQL
 

Desirable Skills include any of the following:
Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Java, J2EE, HTML, XML, Knowledge of back office functionality and business
