Partyline has an opening for a technical support expert or intern familiar with Apple products.

Job Purpose: 

Support a busy team of young entrepreneurs who use a LOT of technology in the course of running a rapidly growing business.

Duties:

• Setup new Macs, iPhones and iPads.

• Monitor and manage remote systems via the internet.

• Test and setup new devices including printers, scanners, RAID systems, barcode scanners, Bluetooth and WiFI devices, IP video cameras, etc.

• Test, evaluate and demonstrate new commercial and proprietary custom software.

• Learn to use new software, apps and devices then help teach co-workers.

• Assist with setup and production of video blogs and internal websites.

• Work with our highly skilled OSX/iOS programmers, network and system administration engineers to learn to assist with application, security, server and network administration.

Skills Qualifications:

No work experience necessary but you must be familiar with Apple systems and have an exceptional aptitude for learning new technology.

Qualified high-school / university students are invited to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and get work experience.

Your skills should include problem solving, using google for research, verbal and written communication and the ability to work quickly and efficiently. Programming, network and Linux skills are a plus, but not required.

Raw intelligence and technical aptitude may qualify you for this position even if you have limited experience BUT you need to be able to focus on the current task at hand and work quickly to complete assignments.

Work Environment:

Our office is located on the downtown mall. Some work can be done from your home or school if you have good high-speed net access. Equipment including iOS devices will be provided for your use. 10-20 hours per week, flexible schedule. 1-3 scheduled hours/week during business hours will be required, but you can otherwise work any time of the day or night. Compensation based entirely on your current skills and abilities. Rapid advancement is possible if you are a quick study.
