Technical Support / Developer Job in Melbourne 3000, Victoria Australia
A leading workforce optimisation software provider for global organisations is currently looking to bring onboard 2 x graduate Tech Support Developers. These roles will be primarily responsible for working with development and support teams to meet customers on and off site. These roles will suit people who enjoy client interaction and communicating with various professional services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with helpdesk / manage support calls
- Provide technical support for the helpdesk team using mainly SQL based code review with some exposure to C#, .net and Silverlight
- Engage with various business units and stakeholders
- Provide application support
- Log all issues and update their status through an issue management system for transparency between customers and internal teams
- Assist with unit level testing activities
- Review requirements and functional specifications documents
- Document changes
- Manage internal training sessions and be involved in training new members of the development and support department
Key Requirements:
- Relevant degree or tertiary qualification in Computer Science / Computer Software Engineering or similar certification
- Experience with SQL Server - T-SQL and SSRS programming is desirable
- Strong interest in resolving technical based issues
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exposure to full SDLC
- Knowledge of C#, .Net Framework, Visual Studio and SCRUM is desirable
- Payroll/HR experience is desirable
