My client is the leading sportsbook and gaming software supplier to the biggest names in the betting business including Ladbrokes, William Hill, Betfair, Paddy Power and SkyBet. They are now seeking a Technical Support Engineer.
Technical Support Engineer - Job Description:
• To support server based systems in a Microsoft windows environment, along with communications equipment, networks and to provide technical assistance to both internal and external clients.
• To ensure the maximum up time of all Internal and Customer systems by providing swift evaluation and accurate resolution of any issue that may arise.
• To have an understanding of satellite data communication systems.
Candidate Requirements:
• Required to have a detailed understanding of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems ideally to to MCSE level
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge Microsoft SQL
• To participate in the Shift and or on call rotas as required - 37.5 hours per week - on average over each rota cycle. You will be required to work up to five shifts of varying hours in any one week. These shifts will be between the hours of 07.00am and 12am, Monday to Sunday including public holidays.
• To be enthusiastic, self motovated, proactive with the ablility to work on your own and as part of a team
• To have a Customer Focus
