This international company who provides premium roof bolting, ground support and drilling products to the mining sector has a unique opportunity for Technical Support Officer to join their Newcastle branch.
This opportunity will have you provide site personnel technical advice and support of all products being utilised onsite. You will ensure product testing, maintenance and installation whilst providing training and any modifications required by the customer.
This role will see you with a NSW wide remit with a majority of your time spent onsite consulting to clients. You will enhance new sales with current customer base and show initiative to create new business opportunity for the company.
You will provide logistics for site, whilst adhering and conducting occupational health and safety requirements for site. Reporting to NSW Mining Manager you will conduct audits and be involved in the account management for your customers.
For this role you will be mechanically trade qualified with previous experience in an underground coal environment. You will be an outgoing and motivated individual that enjoys an element of sales. Ideally you will have your Certificate IV in Trainer and Assessor however this is not essential. An attractive Monday to Friday roster will see you enjoy the wonderful aspects of living within the Newcastle/Hunter Valley region whilst allowing you to be home each night.
