Technical Support Representative
An Anaheim Technology company providing software support to the Automotive Industry are in need of two (2) PART TIME Technical Support Representative for approximately 3-6 months. Part time hours range from 25 -30/hrs a week. Job Summary: The Technical Support Representative provides prompt, high quality first level technical support to end users and internal associates, resolving many issues immediately. The Technical Support Representative enters all items into the Help Desk system for tracking and resolution, addressing and escalating issues in a timely manner. The items relate to Microsoft applications and network products, proprietary tools, and local hardware support. This person will also be responsible for knowing, supporting, and building the knowledge base for our client's products, procedures, and technologies. The Technical Support Representative will also identify customer's needs and determine if other company products/solutions are appropriate. RESPONSIBILITIES: **Provide 1st 2nd level customer service to end-users for items received via the Help Desk, phone, and email. **Provide support and training for WEB application **Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, upgrade hardware/software, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime. **Troubleshoot PC hardware, network, and Windows 2000/XP OS issues **Troubleshoot email issues as related to MS Outlook and our Exchange Server **Log all Help Desk items into the Help Desk System and ensure that all necessary information is collected to reproduce and that calls are closed in a timely manner **Administration of Exchange Server for new and existing email accounts **Administration of WEB applications for setting up new members/users **Provide support for connecting new shops to our network
