Technical Support Specialist, EMEA (German Speaking)

We are currently seeking strong fluent English and German speaking professionals to help us handle client support for our online registration technology solutions. This person would handle support inquiries from English and German clients using several products. A strong aptitude for online technology solutions is a must.

Responsibilities include:
- Assessing client needs through proactive discussions post-sales (phone/in person)
- Educating and explaining front-end and back-end manager features and functionality to clients via phone and email; training ongoing throughout registration process for clients
- Setting up registration forms based on client needs, ensuring client complexities and customized requirements are implemented at time of set-up to minimize issues during registration
- Training Active staff including managers, sales team, and support staff on new features as they are released
- Troubleshooting technical problems and answer general support questions for various products, including RegOnline, ACM (Active Content Manager), and Marketing
- Working with customers and technical groups to resolve issues
- Proactively following-up with clients
- Acting as a technical lead during complex sales processes
- Providing proactive feedback to the development team on issues pertaining to the systems
- Logging all communications and essential information as well as any development bugs into an internal database
- Attending and working at key sports/endurance events as needed for on-site support, which may include weekends
- Taking on additional special projects as needed
- Potentially finding, interviewing, hiring and managing interns from local universities

Requirements:
- Fluent English and German
- 2 + years customer support experience
- Strong technical aptitude
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities
- Great team player
- Exceptional phone skills and clarity
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, customer-focused, strong communication and organizational skills, goal oriented, and self-motivated team player
- Working knowledge of Internet, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast paced environment
