Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Client/Server Manager, provides technical support for network, web and desktop systems.
Duties:
Installs, configures and supports Microsoft products including operating systems and Office.
Ensures network connectivity between desktop and core switches (TCP/IP).
Understands DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory
Secures the system against unauthorized use
Install and troubleshoots desktop computer hardware
Familiar with CVS and CVS updates
Familiar with IIS 6.0
Understanding of Linux helpful.
Understanding of VPN and remote access
Performs other activities as required
Qualifications:
High school education required.
College degree preferred.
Microsoft, A+, or Cisco certification an advantage.
Good customer service and communication skills.
