                                                      Technical Support Specialist

 

Weidmuller is a leading manufacturer of electrical components for industrial automation and connectivity. We are currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.  The successful candidate will be part of a call center that provides technical support, commercial application support, and training to our customers using Weidmuller products.   This person will also assist in developing and providing services, sales tools, and training courses to maximize customer satisfaction and sales.  

 

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering desired, Associate’s degree in Engineering/Electronics Technology required, but may consider equivalent combination of skills and education.

·        3-5 years of industrial support experience with industrial control products

and/or related applications.

·        Ethernet network experience including configuration of wired and wireless Ethernet networks.

·        Wireless telemetry and communication experience.

·        Automation protocol knowledge (i.e., DeviceNet, Modbus, Profibus, CanOpen, EthernetIP)

·        Professional telephone skills.
