Technical Support Supervisor Job in New York, New York US

Join our dynamic group of on-site managers who, along with their teams, provide outstanding customer service on a daily basis to a variety of Fortune 500 clients globally. Our IT Support Services teams provide hardware, software, and systems support through both call centers and deskside assistance. This role combines a traditional management position, with the excitement of managing a client relationship.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operations of a client site location providing IT Support Services with responsibility for the full spectrum of employee management, development and training.
  • Identify potential future leaders from the IT Support Services team, with a focus on succession planning.
  • Ensure the IT Support Services team provides outstanding service to on-site clients.
  • Build strong customer relationships across various levels of the client organization.
  • Maximize profitability through the effective utilization of assets and site resources, and by identifying additional revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and effective production of required client and Williams Lea reports.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to both the client and the IT Support Service team.

Requirements

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Extensive managerial experience, preferably in the IT Support Services, User Support Services, or IT Call Center fields.
  • Combination of technical know-how, user support fundamentals, and strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Proven track of successfully supervising, developing and training staff.
  • Ability to articulate your ideas and motivate the IT Support Services team to execute them to your satisfaction.
  • Solid understanding of procedures, software and resources utilized by IT support teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and workflow to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute process improvements.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where priorities change frequently.
  • Excellent independent, decision-making capabilities and a solution-orientated attitude.
  • A minimum of two years experience in financial analysis, managing financial reporting, and cost controls required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Expert MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
