Our client makes and sells compliance, regulatory management software systems for global leading financial services trading organisations. Because of the huge increase in regulation, compliance regulatory requirements in the investment banking world, my client is very busy at the moment and is projecting continued success and business growth.
They have an urgent requirement for a client facing technically proficient Technical Support / Support Analyst (Oracle, Java, J2EE, LDAP, JMS, SQL) to join their London office in a multi-functional progressive role.
In the role of Technical Support / Support Analyst you will be working on a number of tasks including:
* Investigation and resolution of client issues (1st and 2nd Line Support)
* Providing assistance to the rest of the support team
* Product maintenance in a project environment
* To assist with Team reporting and improvement of working practises
* Provide feedback to technical development team to aid product improvement

To be considered for the Technical Support / Support Analyst - Oracle v11, Java, J2EE, MS SQL, UNIX, JBoss, JMS - you must have extremely strong technical skills and your profile must clearly demonstrate:
* Knowledge of web-based architectures
* Minimum 4 year experience in Java/J2EE and Oracle/MS SQL
* Knowledge of LDAP, JMS, JBoss, UNIX and MQ Series would be beneficial
* Knowledge of financial trading/risk would be beneficial but not essential
* Education to degree level in a numerate subject, or equivalent qualifications
* Excellent client facing and communication skills
* Experience in Team Leader and man management roles
* Flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile is essential
In addition to your technical skills with Oracle v.11, Java, J2EE, JBoss, LDAP, JMS and SQL, your communication ability, motivation and problem solving approach will all be tested in interview.
