Technical Support Team Lead
SharePoint Technical Support Team Lead is required by my client, a large highly successful IT services company.
You will lead a small team with responsibility for maintaining systems and repositories to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet the appropriate corporate policies. The Team Lead will blend line management with technical skills and will be the prime resource for providing initial support and guidance to internal staff.
Key Requirements:-
Essential Criteria
- Experience of managing technical teams
- Install and manage SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 (SSA)
- Extensive MOSS 2007 and 2010 operational knowledge
- Setup and maintain user profile properties for My Sites 2007 and 2010 including UPRE
- Supporting technologies (e.g. C#, SQL, Windows Server, IIS, AD, TMG/UAG, Forefront)
- Power Shell scripting knowledge
- Knowledge of SharePoint's features, functionality and OOTB site customisation
- Extensive IIS 6 and IIS 7/7.5 knowledge
- Experience of involvement in technical change projects
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Information Management Delivery Team
- Ensure KPIs and SLAs are monitored and met
- Assist Helpdesk with escalated SharePoint support calls
- Error identification, investigation and resolution
- Testing of new and changed deployments of collaborative working technology into the live environment
- Documenting process, functional requirements and technical solutions
- Work with colleagues to present and promote the business benefits of collaboration technologies
- Participate in technical change projects as required and appropriate to skill base and experience.
- Identify and bring forward recommendations for improvements - both technical and process - in service delivery.
