Regular full-time, direct-hire career opportunity is open and available. We have been retained by our client to recruit someone with excellent communication over the phone, over a remote desktop command-control connection and excellent customer service skills to support management information systems software products. These users are small business owners with a wide range of technical capabilities; This position requires that you develop a solid understanding of both the application itself, its features and some government regulations. This application has features that are customizable. This person will learn how to perform troubleshooting of technical problems over the phone, via remote control and be able to train end users on how to use the software or troubleshoot problems. This is not your average technical support call center. These customers (users) will have a wide range of questions and problems that you will need to embrace, troubleshoot and resolve. Intuitive thinking as you diagnose each problem will be warmly received. Being able to empathize with the customers’ problems would be advantage. The hired individual must possess compassion and should embrace the desire to help our customer’s clients obtain their daily mission by using this software and it’s features to the benefit of the end user (customer). The nature of our client’s customers’ businesses is quite complex, so we are looking for someone willing to make a long term commitment – a significant investment in training will be required.
Technical Qualifications
· Microsoft Windows operating systems expertise required. Candidates must be able to help clients navigate through the OS to troubleshoot various issues with our software.
· Complete intimate familiarity with Microsoft Office (specifically, Word, Excel, and Access) is a requirement.
· Basic understanding of small networks.
· Experience with remote console tools (Microsoft Remote Desktop, VNC, PCAnywhere, Citrix clients, etc.) is a plus.
· MS SQL Server Database experience a big plus – or navigation of SQL Server; basic queriesor joins are a plus. Some basic understanding of database queries required.
· Strong general computing skills – a generalist – but not necessarily a specialist in any particular technical area.
· 2-4 years of experience with phone and email based technical support
· Experience supporting mobile applications strongly preferred, iPhone now (Android soon)
· Experience in QA/testing is strongly preferred; User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

· Excellent analytical skills with strong ability to articulate findings.
· Ability to identify and describe business processes, identify critical choke points and priorities, and generally someone who can think critically to solve problems quickly and creatively. Dynamically access the bugs and the ones that take longer to fix.
· Charming, easily makes friends – stays positive while on the phone, albeit a customer may stressed by a problem
· Highly organized, and relentlessly focused on resolving problems
· 9am – 6pm (phone calls 9am to 5pm). Casual, jeans, T-shirts, but hard working, and positive environment.

Compensation: $45,000 to 47,000 per year
