Technical Systems Analyst/Specialist recruitment

This role will involve working closely with clients, providing expert level remote management, administration and support for client production.

Responsibilities: Client assistance in optimum use of systems, user administration, configuration changes, system availability, application and database tuning, daily operational support, business continuity, participation in the development and on going refinement, enhancement and continuos process improvement for the services.

This role will involve periodic out of hours support and occasional travel to cutomer sites for planning and meeting reviews.

Skills and Experience:

- Experience with Investment Management Trade Order Management - Experience in MS, SQL, Oracle and or Sybase database configuration, and basic admin functions - Proven ability to work in a support environment - General knowledge of servers and networks - 2 years plus experience in securities trading industry and database software  - Excellent customer service skills, technical troubleshooting skills, interpersonal and communication skills - A background in Portfolio Management  and Trading Systems Applications i spreferred - Third level qualification ideally in Technical Bachelors Degree - Any experience in the following is preferred; server operating systems, job scheduling software, systems monitoring software, clusters/high availaibility systems, disaster recovery.
