Technical Training Mgr

Specific Job Description The US Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) provides Rotary Wing Flight Training, Flight Training Support, and Flight Training Service Support for both aircrew and non-aircrew personnel, at Fort Rucker Alabama. Manages all academic (platform) training activities. Responsible for aviation academic classroom training analysis and course design review. Assists DOTD and USAACE with developing institutional courseware and sustainment training packages according the systems approach to training process, corporate directives, and Army training principles. Provides training development expertise to schedule, review, and coordinate all classroom instruction, including tracking individual student progress, scheduling trainers, training aides, and training materials. Standard Job Description Plans, develops, and implements technical product training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules. Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions, product demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. May administer tests. Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course material reflect product features, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. May include military trainers.
