With new innovative model introductions planned for the Australian market, Volkswagen Australia is embarking on a significant investment in its people to ensure they set world standards with attractive, safe and environmentally sound vehicles and superior after sales service.
As part of this exciting journey a new position of Technical Training Specialist has being created. Reporting into the Service Organisation Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering technical training courses that help to improve the levels of technical expertise within the dealer network.
Key Responsibilities include:
Develop and evolve the technical training curriculum and determine all training needs.
Keep up-to-date with product improvements.
Design training courses utilising adult learning techniques.
Deliver technical training courses that improve the levels of technical expertise within the dealer network.
Evaluate course effectiveness and ensure improvements are made where appropriate.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record of working for another European automotive company. You will have built a successful career in delivering world class technical training and will be educated to Certificate IV. Along side that you will have a passion for providing high class service levels and the desire to develop a long-term career plan within a formal learning and development framework.
