Job Summary: 
The Technical Training Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering training using a variety of methods to budget analysts, program officers, and senior managers on Excel and Oracle based Financial Management Systems

Key Responsibilities:

·         Develop curricula, coordinate, organize, participate in and oversee delivery of training, coordinate the delivery of online e-learning, and oversee, support and manage communications to target training groups

·         Provide training at all workshops, mission follow-up support and possess knowledge of information systems, program budget and tracking, procurement and financial management operations and systems relevant to USAID missions

·         Conduct 2-5 day training sessions; facilitate / moderate breakout groups and role playing exercises as appropriate; and develop, administer and tabulate an evaluation form at the conclusion of the training

·         Provide a report, at the end of each training session / workshop, which includes a brief analysis of the training, lessons learned, and recommendations for improvements to the training program

·         Develop recorded and edited sessions for use by USAID for distance learning and USAID university in formats easy to use

·         Conduct 2-5 day training sessions / workshops to USAID missions in Asia, Europe and Eurasia, Africa, Latin America and Middle East

·         Responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of various training courses, workshops and mechanisms.

·         Must be able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once and adjust as necessary to support changing training needs and arrive at improved future processes and results.

Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree required

·         A minimum of 5 years of solid training experience which includes technology training on Microsoft Excel. Training experience with Oracle desirable.

·         Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities

·         Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

·         Diligent, self-sufficient and highly productive
