Job Summary
Tora’s technical writing team works alongside product management, professional services, development, support, sales and marketing to create documentation for all of Tora’s products and services. In this role, you will develop expertise in Tora’s software products, get exposure to the latest in financial trading technology, and produce user guides, release notes, notifications and videos for all of Tora’s business lines. This position can be based in Tokyo, Hong Kong or San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate with the product management and professional services teams to deliver release notes, user guides, development and other communications regarding our suite of products
- Work with external translation firms and in-house experts to translate our documentation
- Assist with product management to manage bugs, features, and enhancements and other requests in our project management systems (Salesforce and Attask)
- Participate in other product management and professional services projects as needed, from strategic feature development to new client implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field
- 1-3 years of technical writing experience is an advantage
- Fluent oral and written English communication is essential with Japanese language skills an advantage
- Excellent writing skills and knowledge of technical communications and industry standards
- Experience using Salesforce, Attask or other project management software
- Expertise in MS Office applications
- Experience using other graphics and desktop publishing applications would be an advantage
- Basic understanding of HTML, XML, Javascript, and CSS
- Proven ability to deliver quality documentation within strict time frames
- Ability to learn, adapt, and excel in a fast?paced environment
- Knowledge of the Financial industry or order management systems
