Technical Writer/Admin Assistant
Job Description Technical Writer/Administrative Assistant responsible for compiling, editing, revising and publishing documentation and reports. This includes: Policies Procedures, checklists, reports and Operating Manuals and Technical Orders. Use of the government provided SharePoint Portal Server application to manage required documentation is required. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting the management staff of the Network Operations Division in a wide variety of office administration type functions. Position Summary: - Coordinate the gathering of information required to compile all required documentation - Format, proofread, and publish network instructional documentation - Maintain and update the SharePoint Portal Server document repository - Maintain a change document history - Maintain an up to date index of documentation - Develop and execute all document revision/review cycles - Other duties as assigned Position is responsible for maintain personnel files, copying records, data entry into MS Excel and MS Word, and other clerical duties such as processing expense reports, coordinating travel plans, and processing security clearances. Other duties might also include assisting in the organization of company events and other management support duties. Skills: - Applicant should have at least 1-2 years of experience in a clerical position - Must be proficient in MS Office applications, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to work independently - Experience within a corporate environment is a plus Work location: Colorado Springs, CO and Peterson AFB. Mandatory: Candidate must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance
