Summary
The positions will perform electrical wire harness modification, repair and installation.
Description of Position and Responsibilities:
· Modification and repair of bundles at partner sites with the following duties
o Reads instructions such as work orders, diagrams, form boards and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly
o Rework connectors, back shells, wires terminations, splices, split rings, lugs and any other component built in a wire harness
o Wrap and tie wires
o Route wires
o Change routing/ breakouts
o Perform electrical tests
· Installation of bundles at partner sites with the following duties
o Reads instructions such as work orders, diagrams, bill of material, drawings
o Mount any fixture component such as clamp
o Wrap and tie bundle
· Complete associated paperwork
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED or at least two years of wiring experience
· Capable of completing new hire training course requirements
· Selected candidates must pass a visual acuity test for color blindness, depth perception and 20/20 binocular vision with or without prescriptive lens
· Basic wiring knowledge required
· Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
· Experience in wiring manufacturing or MRO desirable
· Position may require alternate work schedules and travel
