In this role of Technician, you will: Essential Responsibilities - Focus on maintaining transducer-manufacturing processes - Focus on safety, quality, and productivity improvements - Act independently on projects and special transducer department tasks using technical abilities - Develop skills to become a technology resource for the transducer areas as directed - Work individually and on teams to improve various areas of the department - Use Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of production, test, and product - Work with Manufacturing Engineers on process improvements and shares ideas between areas Qualifications/Requirements: - Associates Degree in Electronics Technology - Minimum of 5 years of Mechanical / Electrical experience ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: - Ability and willingness to work around approved chemicals - Ability and willingness to work overtime, as required - Ability and willingness to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, as required - Ability and willingness to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently, as required - Ability and willingness to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, as required - Ability and willingness to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time, as required Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
