Technologies Chief Architect (Executive Director) –US Investment Bank recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement and continuously evolve an optimal technology architecture and roadmap for APAC
• Work closely with senior management across the region to define the best IT solutions
• Create and alignment of global standards and IT directions
• Provide inspirational technical leadership across a diverse set of technology and business domains, driving technical improvement, alignment and innovation across a wide team of individuals operating in a highly complex post trade environment
• Determine and lead the regional technical governance process and work closely with business streams to implement the technical transformations
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science
• Min. 15 years experience in financial institution or investment bank, at least 5 years in similar role
• Proven track record in developing technologies with responsibility for architecture, development, delivery, support and decision making
• Architecture and design skills on complex, multi-system programs
• Experience of constructing high-volume, high-performance, scalable solutions
• Experience providing technical leadership in a hands-on role
• Investment banking/private banking knowledge
• Knowledge of architectural and delivery methodologies such as UML and ideally SCRUM
• Ability to communicate technical issues in a clear and concise manner
• Good knowledge of messaging, server side development, Oracle experience etc.
