Technologist
San Diego Imaging – Chula Vista (SDI-CV) is a busy outpatient imaging center and is seeking a per diem CT Technologist who is IV certified, with a minimum of two years extensive CT experience. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, hours will vary according to the center’s needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates skills in the proficient use of CT scanning equipment, contrast delivery systems, RIS and PAC’s.
- Obtains the highest quality images possible, assuring the anatomical area of interest is imaged as completely as possible according to protocols prescribed by radiologist.
- Maintains a high quality of patient care.
- Communicates in a complete, positive and timely manner with co-workers, physicians, patients, and visitors.
- Ensure compliance with company, State and Federal regulations.
Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within prescribed exam times.
- Must possess certification in all areas of CT performed while on the job.
- Ability to perform the identified essential functions of the position including the operation of any equipment associated with performing the essential functions.
- Ability to adhere to San Diego Imaging – Chula Vista’s personnel policies and practices including the attendance and punctuality requirements.
- Ability to maintain a calm and courteous demeanor and conduct business in a professional manner.
Education:
- High School graduate.
- Completion of an accredited CT program.
- Must have current AART/CT license/certification, CPR and Venapuncture.
Work Experience:
- 2 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
