Technology Architect
About the role:
We are seeking a Technology Architect who has a broad development background to join our Market Operations Division which supports our Capital Markets business across a number of post trade functions. This position is an opportunity for someone to utilise their strong soft skills to influence and guide project teams to ensure continued alignment to the technology roadmap as contributing to the overall architecture community.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with key business and technology stakeholders to solve the most important challenges and opportunities
- Evolve the technology roadmaps in response to business opportunities
- Guide and Support projects in line with the technology roadmap
- Apply your broad expertise to resolve project roadblocks and propose new solutions to challenges
About you:
To be successful in this role as a Technology Architect you will be degree qualified in Computer Science or similar and come from a development background (Java/.Net/C++) as well having broad exposure to a wide range of technologies. In addition you will have very strong soft skills, with an ability influence without directing, build relationships and gain credibility quickly. In addition you will also have the following:
- Demonstrated architecture experience within complex environments
- Previous financial services experience is a must ideally within a trading or post trade environment
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- The ability to operate independently, to be proactive, and able to interact with stakeholders across all levels.
