Information about the firm is available at www.jpmorganchase.com Distributed Technology Services (DTS) is accountable for the core distributed infrastructure (SAN, NAS, backup, server, messaging, web, DB, etc) within the bank and is part of Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI). The DTS Engineering Architecture team is accountable for Service Strategy and Design working in conjunction with Build and Operations to deliver services that provide value to all business lines within JPMorgan Chase. Currently we are seeking a Head of Messaging Solutions Architecture to be accountable for defining the strategic direction and architecture of JPMorgan's core application messaging services including Ubiquitous Messaging, Master Broker, and Message Bus. The individual leads a cross functional team with responsibility for designing messaging services based upon MQ, AMQP/QPID, Brokering technology, and Message Adapter Frameworks. An Executive Director level position, the individual is accountable for alignment of architecture and engineering to business priorities, driving adoption, setting standards, and delivering solutions that can be leveraged across the diverse business lines of JPMorgan Chase. This highly visible position is a member of the DTS Engineering Architecture leadership team and must partner within GTI and across multiple lines of business. Key to achieving success will be the ability to exert technical influence and develop key relationships with CTO's, Chief Architects, and infrastructure thought leaders from each business. The Head of Messaging Solutions Architecture should continually assess achievement against technical strategy and business requirements; planning and implementing improvements and product introductions where necessary. Responsibilities include service strategy, technology and functional roadmap, competitive benchmarking, financial analysis, vendor selection and management (through the GTI vendor mgmt team), and full solution lifecycle management. Scope : Global Messaging Services: Ubiquitous Messaging - MQ based transport service. Master Broker - Message Bus - Message Adapter Framework - Internal File Mover - Customer facing interaction with all JPMC LoB's and other GTI towers at senior levels Interaction with banking clients through Technology Business Development Investment Banking teams
