Technology Director

A Technology Director develops both the back-end and front-end components of interactive and Web based projects.  The Technology Director is responsible for programming, debugging, and testing the work they create. They will work closely with a team of creative and strategy professionals in a highly collaborative environment. - Reading technical specifications as required achieving the objectives of functional specifications.
- Creating HTML / CSS templates based on W3C standards and best  practices
- Coding interactive applications, modules, and frameworks using Actionscript for Flash/Flex
- Tracking and reporting on all personal tasks and time.
- Performing unit testing of all modules.
- Collaborating closely with a creative driven team.
- Completing all tasks on time. - At least 6+ years of agency (or in-house agency) interactive experience
- Ability to create HTML / CSS templates based on W3C standards and best practices.
- Ability to create Actionscript based interfaces and applications in Flash/Flex
- Familiarity with industry-standard graphics tools such as Photoshop/Illustrator
- Familiarity with JavaScript and advanced web concepts such as AJAX Knowledge of W3C standards and best practices.
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
- Knowledge of Windows or Unix server platforms, associated applications and utilities.
- Familiarity of XML, SQL and understanding of database concepts.
- Understanding of functional and technical specifications.
- Desire to thrive in a high-pressure, timeline-driven, client-services environment.
- Desire to follow through with multiple tasks on concurrent multiple projects.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a collaborative team.
- Completing all tasks on time.
