Technology Financial Services (TFS) consists of a team of 8 residing within the Technology Division, providing financial support, management and control for all EMEA Technology expenses and headcount. The team covers month-end accounting, reporting, pricing and product management with extensive liaison with technology and non-technology staff globally.
This role resides within the reporting section of the team, supporting the Application Development business units within the division.
Responsibilities
• Provide management reporting for EMEA Application Development managers.
• Preparation of financial models to be used in reporting technology costs to the business.
• Responsible for co-ordinating aspects of the EMEA Application Development budget, including working with New York TFS, providing local support to managers analyzing and reporting results.
• Headcount tracking reporting for EMEA Technology staff, including variance analysis.
• Understanding supporting allocation processes for EMEA Application Development.
• Interaction with managers to assist with cost management.
• Ad-hoc expense and project reporting for Application Development departments and a key point of contact for financial related queries, both within the division and from the business.
• Divisional co-ordinator for project management time entry tool for EMEA Application Development.
• Maintenance of the TFS intranet website
Basic Qualifications
• Part-qualified accountant
• Demonstrable experience handling large volumes of data
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
• Good communication skills including being comfortable dealing with people at a senior level.
• Experience of working in a large global organisation.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and cope with multiple demands on time.
