Our client is a globally recognised investment banking group operating in many of the world's growing markets. Due to the rising business initiatives in their technology development, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Management Reporting / FPA Manager to join the Technology Financial Services team to support the strategy, planning analysis, and regional management information consolidation for the technology business in the APAC region.
Reporting to the Vice President, the main responsibilities of this position include the preparation of monthly financial management reports with detailed commentary and expense analysis for the Technology function. You will perform monthly forecasts budgets. You will look into the IT Ops development project charge reporting, transfer pricing, head count analysis, and expense allocation analysis to different cost centres. In this role, you will develop and maintain good working relationship with the team leads in different departments in different countries in the region and you will explain to them the expense and cost analysis consolidation. In order to succeed in this role, you must have an outgoing personality and a pro-active working attitude. You must enjoy working with and supporting various business line users and able to present accounting figures and analysis to non-accounting background counterparts.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree and ideally a professional CPA accounting qualification
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in financial analysis, management reporting, or expense/cost analysis within financial services or sizable MNC (e.g. Technology firms)
- Relevant experience in IT and Ops Finance or other corporate service support finance will be definite asset
- Regional consolidation skill is essential; previous experience in dealing with Head Office is ideal
- Strong skill in Excel is a Must; knowledge in Access, VBA programming, and/or Hyperion Essbase is preferred
- Able to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with fluency English and Cantonese
