Support the head of Business Solutions in the proposal of new technology that will provide better experiences for this leading bank’s customers. Not a traditional Business Analyst role, you will be involved in pre-business case undertakings, including market and competitor analysis, proof-of-concept, solutions design and strategy. Although you are a technologist at heart, you have a head for business. You are also sufficiently pragmatic to accept that when pushing the envelope with technology solutions 85% of the initiatives you work on won’t see the light of day.
Ideally you will bring to the role:
- Experience in solutions design and proofs-of-concept
- A deep understanding of technology trends coupled with business acumen
- Experience facilitating workshops involving participants from senior management to business users
- Experience in retail and/or business banking would be useful
- Experience working with marketing stakeholders and an understanding of the latest technologies that companies use to communicate with their customers
- An understanding of project disciplines such as project management, process improvement, business analysis and change management would help in the role
- You will be a proactive self starter who is able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills
- Demonstrated strong analytical, conceptual, problem solving and commitment to quality standards.
The line manager is an energetic self-starter and will appreciate the same sort of drive and enthusiasm from the Business Solutions Consultant.
The position is a permanent role with a salary in the $100K base ball park with superannuation and attractive bonuses to complete the package.
