Technology & IT Development Manager recruitment
To take ownership for the ongoing development and integration of all trading systems and technology infrastructure
Main responsibilities
• Development of Online Trading Platforms, Internal Risk and Back office systems
• Act as key stakeholder and liaison for all technology IT related matters
• Management of all IT and data external vendors (Bloomberg, TT)
• Work with the partners on strategic corporate expansion plans and new systems development
• Ownership of all technology related issues including: Disaster recovery and communication systems
Technical Experience Requirements
• Proven programming skills in: Python and Java
• Website development with experience in: HTML, PHP, Flash and Websockets(desirable)
• Database enhancement exposure in: MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in both OMS and PMS preferably with a deep working knowledge of Paladyne
• Strong general IT skills to support general IT infrastructure
• Substantial exposure to working in a standalone development technology role in a: Hedge fund, trading house, asset manager or brokerage – we would also consider candidates coming from an investment bank with prior experience at a hedge fund.
• Detailed knowledge of front, middle and back office from a technology perspective coupled with a deep understanding of trade flow processes
• General understanding of financial commodity derivatives
