The Company
My client, a leading global brokerage firm, is urgently seeking a hands-on highly skilled software developer to join their Global Research Web IT team.
The Role
As the Tech Lead you will report directly to the head of development and be responsible for all projects, system enhancements and support of the firm’s web technologies; this will also include architecture, design and development of the firm’s client facing web technologies. You will build and release software using Bamboo as per development guidelines. You will also work closely with the business to define strategy and deliverables to build centralized client portals for the firm
Your Profile
You must have at least 8 years experience of software development with formidable experience and understanding of Web systems and development in a waterfall development environment. You must have an Investment Banking or Brokerage background developing in Java, Ruby, MS SQL, Sybase and SOA with a strong background in UI and IA design. You will have a proven ability to manage geographically diverse teams and business users with demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates with knowledge of Apache Lucene, Solr, Google GWT and Tibco will be at an added advantage.
