Bulge bracket investment bank with offices spanning Asia, the US and Europe are looking to appoint technology and research driven traders for their desks in London or NY.

The Firm

The firm is a house hold name and global leader across the financial services industry. Having dominated the majority of the markets that they have operated in over the past 10 years they are now looking to build upon success with the addition of technology and research hybrids for their systematic trading desks in London and NY. The specific group are committed to increasing the trading risk exposed to the business unlike some of their competitors.

Your role will involve programming, researching and back testing cross asset systematic trading strategies. Coming from a research and technology background you will be comfortable working on both side of the business- technology side and trading side.

More specifically the firm is keen to speak to candidates who have worked on the BARX system or the Autobahn FX system- prior experience of these platforms is highly desirable. Part of the attraction the firm has always been the opportunity to work in a collegiate environment but also be responsible for your own projects- the autonomy of building something from scratch that you can class as your own is something the firm has always been successful at providing for its employees.

Requirements

• Prior experience with the BARX system or Autobahn FX is highly desirable

• Must have strong blend of research and technology skills

• Cross asset experience is highly desirable

• Must be looking to work on the full life cycle and have prior experience in leveraging technology skills into a trading environment.

• Strong programming and quant skills.
