Technology Risk Oversight Senior Analyst
Business Services provides the services that keep RBS running, including Technology Services, Group Operations and Corporate Services. We put money in the ATMs, keep the Bank's technology systems operating, maintain the branch network, protect our customers from fraud, process millions of pounds of payments across the world and provide call centre and online services. Operational Risk plays a leadership role providing a forward looking, value adding capability working with the business to achieve a robust risk management culture across the RBS Group. Our policy is to maintain an operational risk management framework that enables the consistent identification, assessment, management, monitoring and reporting of operational risk.
The Risk Oversight team is responsible for the independent assessment of risks in Business Services. The Oversight team are capable of taking part in both Compliance and Operational Risk led work, providing Operational Risk expertise as necessary.
As a Technology Risk Oversight Senior Analyst you'd be responsible for supporting the Managers, within the oversight pool, ensuring that inherent material risks of the business / organisation are reviewed. Under the supervision of the Managers, you'll seek confirmation that the risks are being appropriately identified, assessed and mitigated to the desired level.
As a Technology Risk Oversight Analyst you'll have knowledge of software development either from working within a risk environment, financial services or from your degree studies. You'll be able to work to tight deadlines, dealing with conflicting and changing priorities and you'll have technical knowledge of production operation application software within enterprise scale computing and communications.
