Technology Specialist Job Description: Position Overview The Technology Specialist is responsible for working closely with our Technology Partners and AGS Regional Program Office (PO) teams to successfully implement and support technologies critical to our AGS program's success. This position includes developing a strong partnership with our Technology Providers, ensuring they strive for world class service and remain committed to continuous improvement in their products and services to help AGS achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives. This role will focus on managing the technologies utilized by our AGS POs and will work closely with our Technology Partners to develop and apply standard processes, procedures and tools. Key Responsibilities - Understands the business operations, goals and strategies of all Program Offices within the region and contribute to their success - Works closely with Technology Partners (TP) to align and lead them toward AGS Objectives, Account Goals and priorities - Acts as the escalation point for Program Offices and the client on all technology and support issues - Collaborates with other Professional Services team resources to better serve our Program Offices and clients - Establishes open communications with Technology Partners and Regional PO Leadership teams - Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for critical technologies used in the Regions Program Offices - Provides regional leadership for all technical support processes and Help Desk ticket management - Supports or leads Project Management activities for technology implementations, new releases, hot fixes and enhancements - Participates in client meetings for product demos, usability assessments or release planning - Provides trouble-shooting/analysis on technology questions or issues Key Skills and Qualifications - Knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies - Knowledge of process modeling techniques and protocols - Experience with the standard technologies utilized by AGS VMS engagements (ex. Beeline,Fieldglass, Salesforce, etc.) - Ability to design, create and execute a project plan - Ability to design/create processes and procedures and assists others in implementing them - Proficient with Microsoft Office Products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Internet Explorer and XP - Strong written and oral communications skills; projects strong confidence image to AGS clients and technology partners - Strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving ability - Self starter with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and effectively apply them to business processes - Ability to develop training solutions for non-technical teams - Ability to work with a diverse team of resources from AGS, our Technology Partners, our clients, and reach consensus resolution on issues - Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks at once - Ability to adapt quickly and possess flexibility with working in a constantly evolving field Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a technical or business area - 2 to 4 years experience with AGS or other MSP - Previous VMS system experience - Proficient with Microsoft Office - Ability to travel as needed AGS Internal Required Skills for Technology Specialist Job: KNOWLEDGE OF SDLC METHODS KNOWLEDGE OF PROCESS MODELING TECHNIQUES AND PROTOCOLS PROFICIENT WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS PREVIOUS VMS SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE DESIGN CREATE AND EXECUTE A PROJECT PLAN About Allegis Group Services: Allegis Group Services " Transforming the Way the World Acquires Talent.
