Technology Strategy Manager recruitment
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Performance ManagementOrganisational Governance Strategy, you will lead the implementation and evolution of the "Balanced Scorecard Framework". Managing the relationships with Director Level contributors, you will refine the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) they are responsible for.
The Strategic Performance Management function is focused on building consistent linkages between the strategic objectives of the Technology Strategy group and the performance of the organisation through the implementation and evolution of the Balanced Scorecard Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with Director Level contributors in each function to refine the KPIs they are responsible for
- Managing the production of the monthly Balanced Scorecard, resolving any issues that may arise in both the automated and manual data collection across all technology functions
- Reviewing the Balanced Scorecard with Management
- Ensuring the scorecard is delivered to a very high standard of quality (especially important given its visibility to senior leadership and business partners)
- Managing the evolution of the automation behind the Balanced Scorecard (and its derivatives) to provide online dashboard and predictive analytics capabilities
- Incorporate external industry benchmark data into the Balanced Scorecard
- Develop predictive organizational performance models to model impact of changes (e.g., on outages, resources etc) and the ‘cause/effect’ relationships between KPIs
You will have:
- Broad technology delivery background:
- to help establish credibility with KPI owners across the whole technology organization
- to understand the measures (KPIs) that are most relevant to the Global Technology organization
- to provide overall ownership of the technology solution underpinning the Balanced Scorecard
- Attention to detail: track record of creating high quality deliverables for executive level audiences
- Executive presence: ability to rapidly build relationships with Director level contributors of the Balanced Scorecard; Able to get work done through others
- Background of data management skills (e.g. highly proficient in Excel), including visualization of data
- Relevant experience of working in the Financial Management industry
- Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrixed organizations
