Morgan Lewis is currently seeking a Technology Support Analyst. This position reports to the Regional IT Director and provides day-to-day support of all desktop/laptop computer services of a moderate to complex nature to ensure end-user productivity. The Technology Analyst will use all levels of troubleshooting techniques in order to provide accurate, timely and creative resolutions to end user computer-related issues.
Responsibilities include:
Investigates and documents issues (and resolutions) related to software or network situations;
Receiving and responding to end-user requests;
Performing restorative actions to resolve problems;
Providing hardware support.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
5+ years in hardware and software support including the following technologies:
Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Access), Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, WorkShare, WordPerfect, Interwoven WorkSite, Adobe Acrobat, Nuance PDF Enterprise, FileMaker Pro, Best Authority, Legal MacPac, SuperForms, ZENWorks Control Center, Microsoft Service Packs, Microsoft Client, Lotus Notes, Citrix, BlackBerry, Internet Explorer, virtual private network (VPN), telephony McAfee VirusScan, DNA
General concepts of networking, directory services, server hardware and operating systems, telecommunications, data protection and data centers
Law firm or other professional service organization experience preferred,
Minimum high school diploma, undergraduate degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The candidate will also have excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a thorough understanding of current technology.
