Technology Trainer recruitment

Responsibilities
Working with a team of highly-skilled and experienced professionals, we are seeking to hire a Senior Trainer so support and shape strategy, lead projects, and provide tactical execution of end user training including the development, documentation, application of standards and procedures across Moody's.

- Pro-active ability to lead training projects from inception through to completion, including strong project management, training analysis, instructional design, content creation, classroom delivery and communication skills.
- Support the Project Development Lifecycle (PDLC) of MIT by actively participating in Rapid Start project kickoffs and following up with project leads in the creation of Learning Plans for each project.
- Ability to evaluate and learn proprietary applications and processes to develop training materials in the financial industry.
- Design new training courses, including setting learning objectives, creating content to meet the learning objectives and deciding how the material is to be delivered.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents (Business Requirements, Use Cases), discuss requirements with IT and subject matter experts and translate into user friendly training material, including guides, presentations and instructor aids.
- Design and develop synchronous learning (instructor led) and asynchronous learning (self-paced learning ).
- Will work to create hard and soft skills training as the lead or participating in a team environment as a contributor.
- Lead and facilitate training sessions and workshops in both classroom and webinar settings.
- Serve as a training and development subject matter expert in MIT and line of business projects,, including supporting the project development lifecycle, training work products and compliance to the lifecycle.
- To schedule, post, communicate and track courses and attendance through the Learning Management System (LMS) and ad-hoc reports.
- Perform administration in preparation and delivering of meetings and classes and for evaluation and reporting of training.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a technical, business or scientific discipline
- 5 plus years of training experience (preferably in a financial services organization)
- (You have this above)Experience in creating hard and soft skills courseware.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (spoken and written).
- Experience with screen capture and authoring software RoboHelp, Snag It and Captivate to create written and virtual material.
- Strong documentation skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and working with templates and style guidelines for branding consistency.
- System administration experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to schedule, load and update curriculum and course postings.

Department
The Learning Services team is part of the Delivery Assurance group of Moody's Information Technology (MIT). We provide high quality training in various proprietary and off the shelf applications for internal global clients across Moody's Corporation. We also take the lead in planning, organizing and executing learning events designed specifically for MIT personnel. These MIT learning events support the project development lifecycle, in addition to broader training in many technologies for MIT in support of services provided to our end users.
