Tecnology Lead – Securities recruitment
The client is one of the leading stocks and futures broking firms inSingaporeproviding full brokerage services for equities and derivatives trading. It is looking for a strong technology lead to join its IT team.
Position Description:
Hold overall responsibility and accountability for the management and delivery of various forms of securities banking application and infrastructure projects across multiple countries.
Principal Role:
- Familiar with business process management of securities banking
- Execution and strategic leadership pertaining to securities banking
- Good communication and stake holder management skill
- Able to build rapport and partnership with business users
- Good people management skill
- Coaching ability as team leader of approximately 20 staff
- Financial understanding of running the shop
- Keep abreast of changes in the standards, technologies or methodologies
Domain Knowledge:
- Lead the securities team to provide infrastructure (systems network) support for Projects BAU and provide day-to-day support for the email and in-house financial applications.
- Manage BAU Capex budget and resources for Infrastructure Services
- Support and participate in annual DR exercises, audit preparation and fronting audit
- Lead system review, propose improvement and prevention measures
- Lead Service Management with service desk and desktop support with quality mindset
- Work with Project team on Handover of projects/major implementations to enable adequate and proper production support
- Support ITIL initiatives
Qualifications/Experience
- Tertiary education required
- Banking or trading/securities domain knowledge and experience is required
- At least 10 years as Project Manager/ Team Leader/ Business Analyst in Information Technology, a substantial part of which are in a financial organization
- Demonstrated success in managing sizeable projects (cost exceeding S$10 million) involving system upgrade with end-to-end delivery responsibility)
- Demonstrated focus on quality mindset
- Regional work experience (eg.MalaysiaChina)
