The Mobile Architecture group is looking for top programmers to develop the core infrastructure for modeling, analysis, and debugging in the development of Tegra Multimedia System on Chip (SoC) products. A key part of NVIDIA's strength is our proprietary internal tools for the visualization, analysis, and debug and verification of tests and applications on various functional and performance simulations of future chips. We are continuously pushing the envelope and needing the next generation of tools to enable the next generation of chips. Our development environment includes innovative techniques for source code management, build technology, debugging environments, regression systems, metrics, analysis tools, and project management systems. These integrated systems are large-scale, distributed computing systems running on thousands of machines. The systems are continuously running the development workflows and processes for hundreds of engineers world-wide and millions of jobs per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working to improve the current systems and develop new systems, with a focus on performance, efficient resource usage, ease of use, robustness, and good tracking metrics.
- Work closely with other project members and users to understand their build and test processes and needs.
- Your efforts will be multiplied as you increase the productivity of hundreds of engineers worldwide, directly contributing to the overall stability and time-to-market of our next generation chips and the growth and success of NVIDIA.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent interpreted language skills - Perl and Python preferred.
- Strong object-oriented programming and design background: C++ or Python preferred.
- Strong skills in Make or similar build tools.
- Experience with Linux/Unix.
- Experience with SQL database development a big plus.
- Experience with embedded software development a plus.
- Experience in hardware simulation and modeling a plus.
- Experience or knowledge of hardware design tools and processes a plus.
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related, with 3 years of experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
